The economic structure behind the brand altered last year, but the WSOP program itself is still mostly same. In 2024, Caesars Entertainment paid $500 million to NSUS Group, the parent company of GGPoker, for the intellectual property rights to the WSOP. Caesars retains the WSOP-branded poker rooms, the preferred right to host WSOP Circuit events, and the ability to host and oversee the live WSOP in Las Vegas till 2044.
